Deskripsi Pekerjaan
The Accounting interns' responsibilities include:
- Financial Reporting
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements;
- Evaluation of accounting policies and reporting compliance;
- Identification, review, and clean-up of books of accounts.
- Finance Business Processes
- Participation in projects related to automation, digitization, process and policy designs;
- Data migration and systems implementation.
- Tax Compliance
- Preparation, analysis and reconciliation of BIR remittances, of tax returns and schedules
- Participating in team meetings, training, and other events.
*Role entails exposure to other functions of Accounting (ie. Audit, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc), and exposure to different subsidiaries under the company.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Strong financial analysis skills;
- Proficiency in Excel is preferred.
- Open to 3rd or 4th year Accountancy students (voluntary or required internship applications are welcome)

First Gen is a natural gas pioneer and owns four out of the five natural gas-fired power plants in the country. These are the 1500-MW Sta. Rita and San Lorenzo plants, the 97-MW Avion and the 414-MW San Gabriel power plant. Avion will be the first power plant in the Philippines to run on aero-derivative gas turbines while the San Gabriel plant is expected to be the most efficient natural gas-fired plant in Southeast Asia. The plants are present in all three grids of the Philippines, and can serve the baseload, mid-merit and peaking market segments.
