Product Data Specialist Project Based for 3 months  

We are looking for a Product Data Specialist to support our reviewing, standardizing, and enriching product names and descriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the company’s product database and e-commerce platforms.

This is ideal for individuals who are highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with large data sets and technical product information.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and standardize product names and descriptions using established naming conventions and formatting guidelines.
• Expand abbreviated or coded product titles into clear, descriptive, and searchable names.
• Verify and cross-reference product details with supplier catalogs, technical data, and internal reference sheets.
• Encode and prepare enriched product data for upload into the website CMS or master list template.
• Conduct spot checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Totaline standards.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Technical teams for clarification of product details when necessary.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large data sets.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and online collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
• Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into clear product descriptions.
• Good coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
• With 1–2 years of experience in data entry, data management, or e-commerce product catalog maintenance.
• Experience handling technical or parts-based product information (e.g., equipment, SKUs) is an advantage but not required.
