YONDU INC.' is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our dynamic team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our software engineering squad, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Java-based applications that are critical to the success of our business. What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software applications
• Develop and enhance Java-based applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the integrity and reliability of our software systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and practices
• Mentor and guide junior members of the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment

What we're looking for

• 5-8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java
• Expertise in designing and implementing Java-based applications, including experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, React, Android, Etc.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Hands-on experience in agile software development methodologies and tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
