Java Back End Developer  

The Senior Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and CRM-related applications, with a focus on ClickHouse-based data processing, to support the Optimus / Source Reporting team's reporting and application delivery needs.

This role designs scalable backend architecture, ensures data integrity and performance across CRM and analytical systems, and works closely with frontend engineers, data engineers, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

The position focuses on backend engineering and technical delivery rather than people management.

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience developing backend systems using Java.
• At least 2 years of experience working with ClickHouse or a similar columnar/analytical database.
• Experience developing or maintaining CRM applications or related business systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot is preferred.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of working with ClickHouse and CRM-related systems, including:
• Data modeling and schema design for analytical workloads
• Query optimization and performance tuning
• Data ingestion and ETL processes
• CRM data structures (leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, etc.)
• Integration with third-party CRM platforms and APIs
• Data synchronization and consistency across systems
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with the ClickHouse SQL dialect.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms (Redis or similar).
• Experience using version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar.
• Familiarity with defect/task tracking tools such as Jira or similar.
