Interior Design Sales Consultant  

Help clients transform residential and commercial spaces by recommending customized furniture and interior solutions. In this client-facing role, you'll combine your eye for design with your relationship-building skills to understand customer requirements, develop space plans, prepare design presentations, and guide clients from consultation to project completion. Responsibilities:

Client Consultation

● Meet with residential and commercial clients to understand their space requirements, lifestyle, budget, and design preferences.

● Conduct site visits and space measurements when necessary.

● Build long-term relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service throughout the project.

Interior Design & Space Planning

● Develop furniture layouts and space plans based on client requirements.

● Recommend furniture, finishes, materials, colors, and accessories.

● Prepare mood boards, design concepts, and client presentations.

● Produce design drawings and 3D visualizations using design software.

Sales & Project Coordination

● Present design proposals and quotations.

● Guide clients through product selection and customization options.

● Achieve individual sales targets while maintaining a consultative selling approach.

● Coordinate with production, project management, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

● Monitor project progress until turnover.

Market Development

● Stay updated on furniture trends, materials, and interior design innovations.

● Participate in showroom events and client presentations.

● Generate referrals and repeat business through exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications Required

● Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

● Strong understanding of furniture specifications and space planning.

● Excellent presentation and communication skills.

● Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building abilities.

● Able to manage multiple client projects simultaneously

Preferred

● Experience in furniture, modular cabinetry, interior fit-out, or architectural sales.

● Knowledge of residential and commercial interior projects.

● Experience using rendering software such as V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion is an advantage.

● PRC Interior Designer License is a plus but not required.
