Senior Back End Developer  

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer experienced in building, maintaining, and securing web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing RESTful APIs, managing server environments, and implementing secure coding practices following OWASP standards. You will work on diverse projects, including eCommerce platforms, payment gateway integrations, and real-time applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile (SCRUM) environment, contribute to architecture design (Monolithic & Microservices), and ensure seamless deployment processes. Basic server administration and version control proficiency are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar).

Build and manage RESTful APIs using Laravel Passport and custom API security mechanisms.

Perform server administration using WHM/cPanel on LAMP environments, including basic Linux commands.

Implement OWASP-based security enhancements in both source code and server configuration.

Develop and integrate eCommerce and payment gateway systems.

Configure and manage domains, servers, and deployments.

Implement WebSockets for real-time applications (e.g., chatbots).

Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.

Collaborate with teams in an Agile/SCRUM setup.

Manage code repositories using Git for version control.

(Optional Advantage) Contribute to mobile app deployment and maintenance (Android/iOS).

• Solid knowledge of PHP and frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter.

• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs (Laravel Passport & Custom Security).

• Hands-on experience with LAMP servers, WHM/cPanel, and basic Linux commands.

• Strong understanding of OWASP security standards and secure coding practices.

• Experience working on eCommerce platforms and payment gateway integrations.

• Proficiency in Git for version control.

• Familiarity with both Monolithic and Microservices architectures.

• Experience with WebSockets and real-time applications.

• Proficiency in unit & integration testing using tools like PHPUnit, JUnit, or Jest.

• Experience in Agile and SCRUM development environments.

• Strong front-end knowledge:

• JavaScript (ES5/ES6, AJAX)

• CSS/SASS

• HTML5

• Experience in server and domain configuration.

• Nice to Have / Added Advantage:

• Experience in mobile app development & deployment (Android & iOS).

• Knowledge of ReactJS, VueJS, or React Native.
