About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Associate or Lead to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, hybrid work from home role based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As the Finance Operations Lead, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our organization.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day people operations, finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, mandatory payroll requirements, and general ledger maintenance & bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Timely processing of monthly payroll including mandatory government requirements
• ​Timely processing of corporate governance licenses and permits
• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to the management team
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the finance and operations department

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid, with 1x per week required to be in office.
• Exception: First 30 days (training period) will be required to be in office 3-4x a week.
• Work hours is 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Reports to: Senior VP - COO

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Not required but good to have: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in Finance & Payments industry
• Comfortable in financial analysis, reports, budgeting and controllership
• Professional communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using QuickBooks accounting software (or similar tools) and Google workspace.
