Loc&Stor 24/7 Secure Self-storage

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance&amp;Engineering Supevisor, the Aircon Technician primarily installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs air conditioners of all Loc&amp;Stor 24/7 facilities. Also performs maintenance tasks when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Performs routine preventive maintenance (see PM scope) tasks to ensure that equipment and machines continue to run smoothly. </li>
	<li>Inspects AC parts such as electrical panels, indoor unit, outdoor unit, temperature, and humidity perform other maintenance actions, following SOP.</li>
	<li>Inspects and tests equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions or read work orders/service reports to determine/verify required repairs.</li>
	<li>Repairs and rebuilds defective parts in air-conditioning units and related equipment using hand tools and power tools. </li>
	<li>Reports to Maintenance Function Head, Facility Managers, and Assistant Facility Managers updates and requests that need supervisorial action or decisions (those out of the routine preventive maintenance).</li>
	<li>Prepares daily reports and weekly reports of PM activities.</li>
	<li>Performs maintenance roles by ensuring clean, safe, and secure facilities.</li>
	<li>Assists and observes AC contractors during inspections and repairs.</li>
	<li>Signs off /Accepts AC contractor works once completed.</li>
	<li>Shares basic knowledge of doing the preventive maintenance with other maintenance staff.</li>

FMIDC History

First Multi-Tech Industrial and Development Corporation (FMIDC) was established in 1993 as a trading company supplying a wide range of products, from refurbished aircraft seats to concrete and wooden poles. With the emergence of mobile telecommunications and power distribution in 1998, FMIDC began shifting its product line focus into Automatic Transfer Switches, Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors, Fire Rated Cables, and Generator Sets.

From a small-scale venture, FMIDC has expanded into an enterprise. It became the sole distributor of ASCO Power Technologies in the Philippines. Due to its active presence in the telco industry in 1996, the company developed and pioneered the Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (CPM) Program for Generator Sets and Airconditioning Systems. The range of services expanded in 2009, covering Telecommunication Works, Site Audit of the transmission system and repair
of the microwave, through Sel Telecom.

In 2015, FMIDC established FMIDC Maintenance and Services Inc. (FMS Inc.). Its mission is to provide facility maintenance and related services to various industries. In 2017, the company moved to its new office building and marked its growth by rebranding. To progress in the digital era, FMIDC became an official distributor of Schneider Electric Philippines and Vertiv’s DC Power Systems. 

With the company’s proven expertise and reliability, FMIDC is a reliable partner for telcos, utilities, contact centers, data centers, manufacturing, residential, and commercial establishments.

4. Repairs and rebuilds defective mechanical parts in generators, air condition unit, and related equipment, using hand tools and power tools.

5. Delivers fuel on site for the maintained generators.
