TMP was incorporated on August 3, 1988 as a joint venture of GT Capital Holdings, Inc., Toyota Motor Corporation, and Mitsui & Co., Ltd.

TMP's head office and manufacturing plant are located inside the 82-hectare Toyota Special Economic Zone (TSEZ) in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. TSEZ is also home to several investors performing strategic roles in the manufacture and export of automotive products to ASEAN, Japan, and other parts of the world. TMP’s marketing operations are present at the 28th and 31st floors, GT Tower International, Makati City. Its logistics facility for imported vehicles, the Batangas Vehicle Center (BVC), is located in Batangas City.

TMP operates its head office and manufacturing plant within the 82-hectare Toyota Special Economic Zone in Laguna. The facility assembles the Vios, Innova, and Tamaraw models and has an annual production capacity of 60,000 units. The company’s marketing operations are present at the 28th and 31st floors, GT Tower International, Makati City. Its logistics facility for imported vehicles, the Batangas Vehicle Center (BVC), is located in Batangas City.

TMP operates with nine (9) organizational units: Affiliate Operations Support & Audit, Comptrollership, Corporate Affairs, General Administration, Manufacturing, Marketing, Purchasing, Treasury, and Vehicle Logistics.

Role &amp; Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Develop and implement comprehensive OSH programs aligned with workplace requirements.</li>
	<li>Ensure full compliance with DOLE and Philippine OSH standards, including sector-specific regulations.</li>
	<li>Lead safety initiatives in medium- to high-risk environments</li>
	<li>Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and job hazard analysis</li>
	<li>Facilitate design review for safety, conduct incident prevention and investigation</li>
	<li>Conduct investigations on accidents, incidents, non-compliance, and unsafe practices to improve safety performance</li>
	<li>Conduct safety and health regional audit</li>
	<li>Investigate and report accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions.</li>
	<li>Maintain and periodically review safety manuals, permits, records, and certifications to ensure compliance, accuracy, and up-to-date documentation.</li>
	<li>Analyze audit findings and trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety compliance and operational performance.</li>
	<li>Prepare, maintain, and submit DOLE reportorial requirements, ensuring timely compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.</li>
	<li>Conduct safety training, orientations, and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements.</li>
