GINGERSNAPS Philippines

The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store to ensure the achievement of sales targets, efficient personnel management, proper inventory and cash control, excellent customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role involves leading the store team, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Location: SM Iloilo – Gingersnaps Boutique

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Management and Business Performance

<ul>
	<li>Achieve monthly sales targets and store quotas for assigned brands.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with the Area Sales Supervisor/Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies and promotional activities.</li>
	<li>Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.</li>
	<li>Address and resolve issues affecting store sales and overall business performance.</li>
	<li>Coordinate with the Merchandise Planning and Control Department regarding merchandise requests, stock movement, and inventory requirements.</li>
	<li>Prepare and submit required sales reports, including:</li>
	<li>Weekly Sales Report</li>
	<li>Month-End Summary Report</li>
	<li>Categorical Sales Report</li>
	<li>Monthly Work Schedule</li>
	<li>Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and effectively handle customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries.</li>
</ul>

2. Personnel Management

<ul>
	<li>Supervise, motivate, and evaluate the performance of store personnel, including Customer Assistants (CA) and Customer Sales Associates (CSA).</li>
	<li>Prepare, monitor, and manage employee work schedules, including opening and closing shifts, day-offs, holidays, sale events, and schedule adjustments.</li>
	<li>Conduct store-level training and retraining programs to enhance employee skills and performance.</li>
	<li>Communicate company policies, operational updates, and instructions to staff through regular meetings and briefings.</li>
	<li>Ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and procedures.</li>
	<li>Address employee concerns, resolve workplace issues, and recommend disciplinary actions when necessary.</li>
</ul>

3. Inventory, Cash, and Asset Management

<ul>
	<li>Implement and enforce inventory control systems and audit procedures.</li>
	<li>Monitor stock levels and report overstock and understock situations to maintain optimal inventory levels.</li>
	<li>Minimize merchandise damages and prepare monthly Merchandise Damage Reports.</li>
	<li>Oversee cashier operations and monitor cash handling procedures.</li>
	<li>Report cash shortages, overages, and deviations from established cashiering policies and procedures.</li>
	<li>Ensure proper utilization, maintenance, and safeguarding of store assets, supplies, and equipment.</li>
	<li>Promote cost-effective management of store resources.</li>
</ul>

4. Store Image and Visual Merchandising

<ul>
	<li>Ensure consistent implementation of company visual merchandising standards and store image guidelines.</li>
	<li>Identify and report visual merchandising concerns and recommend improvements.</li>
	<li>Participate in the planning and execution of sales promotions and marketing campaigns.</li>
	<li>Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall housekeeping standards within the store.</li>
</ul>

5. Administrative and Operational Support

<ul>
	<li>Coordinate with mall administration, leasing officers, suppliers, contractors, banks, and other external stakeholders regarding operational requirements and concerns.</li>
	<li>Facilitate compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.</li>
	<li>Perform administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Area Sales Supervisor/Manager.</li>
	<li>Support company initiatives and special projects as required.</li>
</ul>

Store Supervisor

The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing sales transactions, handling cash collections, maintaining sales records, and providing excellent customer service. The role also supports store operations, inventory activities, and the maintenance of store appearance while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Cash Handling &amp; Transaction Processing

	<li>Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.</li>
	<li>Maintain and update daily sales logbooks and transaction records.</li>
	<li>Count, tally, and safeguard daily cash collections.</li>
	<li>Ensure proper handling of cash, receipts, and other company assets.</li>
	<li>Adhere to company policies and procedures for asset protection and loss prevention.</li>
</ul>

Customer Service &amp; Sales Support

<ul>
	<li>Provide excellent customer service and a positive checkout experience.</li>
	<li>Assist customers with inquiries, payments, and after-sales concerns.</li>
	<li>Support store sales goals and contribute to overall sales attainment.</li>
	<li>Recommend strategies to help move slow-moving merchandise.</li>
	<li>Assist sales associates in closing sales when needed.</li>
</ul>

Store Operations &amp; Image Maintenance

<ul>
	<li>Maintain professional grooming and wear the prescribed company uniform.</li>
	<li>Help ensure store cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandise display.</li>
	<li>Support visual merchandising and store presentation standards.</li>
</ul>

Inventory &amp; Administrative Support

<ul>
	<li>Participate in monthly and quarterly inventory counts.</li>
	<li>Attend store and company meetings as required.</li>
	<li>Perform administrative and operational tasks assigned by the Store Supervisor or Manager.</li>
	<li>Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.</li>
	<li>Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and assist in onboarding new employees.</li>
