We are looking for an Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations across the 7Gen Group of Companies — a multi-entity ecosystem comprising Media Meter Inc. (SaaS/media monitoring), M2.0 Communications (PR agency), Rythmos DB (data analytics/KPO), and 7Gen (AI products).

This is a hands-on, task-specific role focused on ensuring accurate books, clean records, and smooth daily finance operations across all 4 entities.

Key Responsibilities 
Bank Reconciliation &amp; Cash Management:

<ul>
	<li>Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations across all entities</li>
	<li>Monitor cash positions and manage fund transfers between accounts</li>
	<li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank statements</li>
</ul>

Closing of Books:

<ul>
	<li>Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of books for all 4 entities</li>
	<li>Ensure all journal entries, adjustments, and accruals are posted on time</li>
	<li>Prepare trial balance and ensure general ledger accuracy</li>
	<li>Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit requirements</li>
</ul>

Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable:

<ul>
	<li>Oversee AR: billing, collections, aging reports, client payment follow-ups</li>
	<li>Oversee AP: vendor payments, payment schedules, approval workflows</li>
	<li>Manage intercompany receivables and payables across entities</li>
</ul>

Daily Operations:

<ul>
	<li>Supervise the accounting team’s daily tasks and workflow</li>
	<li>Process and review payroll, benefits, and statutory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)</li>
	<li>Maintain chart of accounts and ensure proper classification across entities</li>
	<li>Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, withholding taxes, annual ITR)</li>
	<li>Ensure compliance with DOLE, BIR, and other regulatory requirements</li>

Financial Management &amp; Strategy 
 - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.

Accounting Operations &amp; Financial Reporting

Budgeting, Cost Control &amp; Profitability 
 - Monitor operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. 
 - Implement cost control measures and spending limits. 
 - Track profitability by department, project, or business unit. 
 - Recommend pricing, margin improvements, and efficiency initiatives.

Cash Flow &amp; Treasury Management 
 - Monitor daily cash position and short-term liquidity. 
 - Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis. 
 - Manage bank relationships, credit facilities, and loan compliance. 
 - Ensure timely collection of receivables and proper disbursement controls.

 
Taxation &amp; Statutory Compliance 
 - Ensure timely filing and payment of all taxes and statutory obligations. 
 - Oversee preparation of tax returns, schedules, and reconciliations. 
 - Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors. 
 - Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the company.

Internal Controls, Risk &amp; Audit 
 - Design, implement, and strengthen internal control systems. 
 - Lead internal audit initiatives and follow up on findings. 
 - Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations. 
 - Investigate financial irregularities, variances, and potential fraud.

Systems &amp; Process Improvement 
 - Improve accounting workflows and automate processes where possible. 
 - Ensure integrity and effectiveness of accounting and ERP systems. 
 - Develop standardized procedures and documentation.

Leadership &amp; Team Management 
 - Supervise and develop accounting and finance staff. 
 - Assign tasks, set performance targets, and conduct evaluations. 
 - Provide coaching and technical guidance. 
 - Promote a culture of accountability and accuracy.

Management &amp; Stakeholder Reporting 
 - Prepare executive dashboards and financial presentations. 
 - Provide clear financial insights to senior management and Execom. 
 - Support cross-functional teams on financial matters.

Governance &amp; Policy Development 
 - Draft and update finance and accounting policies and procedures. 
 - Ensure adherence to corporate governance and ethical standards. 
 - Participate in policy and risk committee discussions.
