The Project Assistant will assist the Lead Coordinator for Graduate Education Digital Transformation Efforts in crafting the groundwork for ODeL. These include:

<ul>
	<li>Auditing Higher Education resources (i.e. technology and facilities, people, processes, strategies, and culture) that may contribute to the University’s Digital Transformation efforts.</li>
	<li>Coordination with all relevant committees in reviewing existing academic policies and in drafting new policies that align with innovative teaching modalities to support the University’s Digital Transformation agenda.</li>
	<li>Identification of Schools, Departments, and Programs interested in developing courses with properly designed online components, as part of the broader initiative to advance the University’s Digital Transformation.</li>
</ul>

 

Principal Accountabilities and Project Deliverables:

<ul>
	<li>Assist in the research efforts in assessing online courses</li>
	<li>Assist in coordinating with SALT for readiness check for instructional design and materials development</li>
	<li>Assist in coordinating with OVP DITS for readiness assessment of current available technology resources</li>
	<li>Assist in crafting survey tools to gauge real interest and commitment in developing online courses</li>
	<li>Collect and analyze the results of the survey conducted</li>
	<li>Assist in coordinating with relevant committees (i.e. Curriculum Committee, Graduate Programs Committee, etc.) for Graduate Programs in drafting policies for online programs</li>
	<li>Assist in finalizing findings, policies and recommendations for approval of the school body</li>
