Under the supervision of the Campus Development and Construction Group Head, the Planning and Design Head oversees the planning, design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the roads, buildings, installations, and related systems.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

I. Section Management and Development

	<li>Sets the direction of the Planning and Design Section and determines its operational goals in alignment with the Group goals, Office goals and Cluster mandates</li>
	<li>Prepares and monitors the Section’s budget and expenditures and recommends cost effective solutions for the Office</li>
	<li>Manages the performance of employees in the Section by setting standards/targets, monitoring, and evaluating performance, and providing development opportunities</li>

II. Campus Master Plan Management

	<li>Oversees the conduct of feasibility and environmental planning studies, ensuring a financially and functionally viable and sustainable project, recommending ways to optimize space and utility usage</li>
	<li>Assists in the review, creation, and revision of a comprehensive and integrated framework and guidelines for campus development, looking into infrastructure planning, space planning and utilization, and environment planning</li>
	<li>Keeps abreast of national and international standards in the professional, as well as government regulations, and ensures that the Campus Master Plan adheres to such yardsticks</li>
	<li>Creates guidelines and policies on sustainable design standards balancing aesthetics, functionality, and safety</li>

III. Facilities Planning and Evaluation

	<li>Evaluates resource facility systems in the University to check compliance with government laws and codes, University standards, and best practices</li>
	<li>Writes recommendations, guidelines and standards on facilities planning and utilization to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of physical facilities</li>

IV. Construction and Renovation Projects

	<li>Creates guidelines on cost estimation, project timelines, contracting and procurement, and evaluation of bids</li>
	<li>Coordinates with University offices for all Construction, Major and Minor Improvement projects requests</li>
	<li>Prepares pre-design and schematic design plans for all space planning and facilities improvement projects.</li>
	<li>Prepares detailed cost estimates in budget planning and evaluation of Construction, Major and Minor Improvement projects, for the approval of the CDCG Head</li>
	<li>Drafts all pertinent construction project bid documents such as:

The UI/UX Designer designs interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use for a highly customizable system. The main task is to conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, and then use the gathered information to create sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes. The role contributes to ideation and sketching sessions, storyboards, prototyping, and usability testing to create a comprehensive wireframe system. The UI/UX Designer contributes and promotes design usability guidelines, best practices, and standards to the fellow mid and junior members of the UI/UX capability team.

Job Responsibilities:

	<li>Prepare final, press-ready files based on supplied specifications for various printing and digital deliverables, ensuring high quality and accuracy.</li>
	<li>Transform various formats of supplied artwork into production-ready files, resolving any artwork-related issues during production.</li>
	<li>Package, prepare, and version files for release to printers, media partners, and other stakeholders.</li>
	<li>Format graphics and ensure that files are correctly processed, proofed, and ready for deployment in multiple formats.</li>
	<li>Assist design teams in producing a wide range of materials, including print, packaging, advertising, email campaigns, social media, and other digital graphics.</li>
	<li>Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed within set deadlines and adhere to branding standards.</li>
