Warehouse Supervisor  

The Lubricant Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations specific to lubricant products, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant storage and distribution. This role supervises warehouse staff, manages inventory accuracy, coordinates inbound and outbound logistics, and ensures proper handling of lubricants in line with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of lubricant products.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and government regulations related to hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and full physical inventory.
• Monitor product shelf-life and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO methods).
• Oversee handling and storage of lubricants in accordance with manufacturer guidelines to prevent contamination and degradation.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Prepare and analyze warehouse performance reports (KPIs, stock levels, damages, discrepancies, etc.).
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff; ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for space optimization, process efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, drum handlers).

• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally handling lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG.
• Knowledge of lubricants and hazardous materials handling is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is an advantage.
• Predominantly warehouse-based; may involve lifting heavy items and operating machinery.
• Exposure to temperature variations and lubricant products.
• May require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational demands.
