Job Description
Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:
The Curriculum and Standards Support Assistant V (CSSA V) assists the Curriculum and Standards Officer (CSO) in the implementation of academic standards and curricular development processes at the graduate level, including updating data in the Student Information System (SIS) and other internal systems and databases as required. Directly reports to the CSO.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support
- Logs and conducts initial evaluation of new, revised programs and graduate course proposals for endorsement to the CSO.
- Logs and conducts the initial evaluation of various requests, appeals to the Assistant Vice President for Graduate Education (AVP GradEd) pertinent to graduate students, programs before endorsement to the CSO.
- Monitors the progression of all submitted new, revised programs and course proposals up to implementation in the student information system.
- Manages the Student Information System pertinent to graduate level curriculum and standards in coordination with the CSO.
- Monitors the progression of all filed requests from students, departments, offices up to the release of results.
- Manages database and online portals pertinent to standards and curriculum matters in coordination with the Data and Communications Manager (DCM).
- Prepares data in coordination with the DCM for reports, proposal needs of the CSO.
2. Coordination
- Assists the CSO in coordinating with concerned departments,programs regarding their curriculum,course proposals and presentations to the school body.
- Assists the CSO in coordinating with concerned offices in the compilation of final curricular documents for submission to CHED.
- Prepares and sends out materials pertinent to curriculum and standards meetings.
- Consults with the DCM for matters pertinent to database and online portal upgrade or revision.
- Coordinates with the DCM regarding data dashboards for inventory reports on approved curricula, course proposals for each school.
- Logs and corresponds to inquiries sent through phone calls, emails or Google chats pertinent to standards and curriculum.
- Coordinates meeting schedules with the Office Manager (OM).
3. Administrative Support
- Takes minutes of the meetings pertinent to curriculum and standards.
- Prepares budget proposal for meetings, trainings, writeshops.
- Manages logistical needs for meetings, trainings, writeshops in coordination with the OM.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the CSO, GECPH and AVP GradEd.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree graduate in education, administration, or other related field
- At least 1 to 2 years of work experience in an academic setting
- Preferably with experience in the Curriculum development process in a schooluniversity
- Experience in data gathering and analysis
